The MHES Safetry Patrol for 2015-2016 was recognized at the October 8th meeting of the Glades County School Board.   Sponsors Summer Odom and Sara Everett explained how they have a group of 20 students that made all A's and B's through there 4th grade year which allows them to represent the Safety Patrol for there 5th Grade Year.  They are expected to keep up those grades throughout the 2015 - 2016 school year.  All of them are excited about going on the annual trip to Washington D.C. in May 2016.  Chairman Mike Pressley told the children how proud the board was that they worked so hard to be on the patrol.  The Safety Patrol children will be around the community working to raise approximately $1,500 per person which is what it will cost to allow them to take the trip.  Board Member Janet Storey told them she had already seen some of them out and about working hard to sale cookie dough among other items.
