Moore Haven Elementary School is starting a new program which will be funded by the Glades Education Foundation. We need volunteers from the community to help out. Reading Rangers will spend about an hour a week in the school reading with students in PreK – 2nd grade. An orientation day will be held on December 1, 2015 in the school library at 9 a.m. Volunteers in Glades County Schools need to complete an application and be approved by our school board, but this is a simple task. Please stop by and pick up a form today or you may complete one the day of the orientation.
We need the community support to help make this a successful program and raise our children to love reading. For more information please email Kristi Hingson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the school at (863) 946-0737.
